General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

1.         Scope of validity

The following AGB shall apply to all orders placed thru our online shop.

2.         Contracting parties, conclusion of contract

The purchase contract shall be concluded with HELFAST GmbH & CO. KG.

When presenting our products in the online shop, we submit a binding offer to conclude a contract about these articles. The contract is deemed to have been concluded, when you accept the purchase order for the goods in the goods basket by clicking on the order button. You shall receive a confirmation via e-mail immediately after posting the purchase order.

A binding contract may also take effect prior to this as follows:

  • If you select PayPal as mode of payment, the contract is deemed to have been concluded when confirming the payment instruction to PayPal.

4.         Shipping costs

Shipping costs shall be added to the product prices stated. For the details please refer to the individual offers.

5.         Payment

Our shop offers the following modes of payment:

When selecting prepayment as mode of payment, we shall let you have our banking details on the order confirmation and deliver the goods after the payment has been received.

You will pay the invoiced amount to the online provider Paypal. You must already be registered there, or must register first, then identify yourself with your access data and, eventually, confirm the payment instruction in our favor (exception: guest access, where applicable). You will be given further instructions during the order process.

When selecting Paypal/Paypal Express as mode of payment, a charge of 0 per cent of the purchase price will become due.

There shall be no entitlement to purchase on account. Customers can opt for purchases on account after an initial transaction only.

6.         Cash and carry

It is basically possible to collect your purchases yourself from HELFAST GmbH & Co. KG, Schongauer Str. 5, 28219 Bremen, Germany, during the following business hours: Monday- Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, except on public holidays. Please inform us about your intention to collect the goods not later than two working days before your arrival, so that the goods can be held ready for dispatch in our warehouse.

7.         Retention of title

The goods shall remain our property until they have been paid in full.

8.         Shipping damage

If goods are delivered with obvious shipping damage, raise the matter immediately with the deliverer and get in touch with us without any delay. Failing to file a complaint or getting in touch with us shall neither have consequences for your statutory claims, especially the warranty claims, nor for enforcing them. However, you help us asserting our own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.

9.         Customer service

You can contact our Customer Service between 08:00 AM and 4:00 PM, except on public holidays.

10.      Storage of the contract text

We shall store the contract text and e-mail you the order data and our AGBs. You can view the AGBs on this page and download them from there at any time. You shall have access to your previous orders thru our customer login.

11.      Contract language

The language available for concluding the contract shall be German.

12.      Note according to the Battery Act

Since our deliveries may contain batteries and accumulators, the Battery Act (BattG) commits us to advise you of the following: Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in the household refuse; you are rather required by law to return old batteries and accumulators. Old batteries may contain hazardous substances that could damage the environment or your health if no properly stored or disposed of. Besides, batteries also contain valuable raw materials, such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel, which can be recycled. You can return old batteries free of charge either to our warehouse, to the retail trade or to a municipal recycling center in your vicinity.

The return of such batteries to the retail trade is limited to quantities that are customary for end users as well as to those types only, that belong(ed) to the retailers range of products.

The sign with the crossed refuse bin means that batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in the household refuse. You will find further symbols under this sign which have the following meaning:
